People often ask me why I started writing this blog back in 2008. It’s a complicated story but a story that is not really that uncommon. If you read my testimony, I have been following Christ for most of my life, more than 40 years to be exact. During those years, I’ve had my ups and downs as do most Christians. There were times I hit rock bottom and other times I had mountaintop experiences. Through all the ups and downs, I can always say that God led me through. God was always there and never left my side.
This blog is dedicated to those memories and stories I have of yesterday and the memories that will be lived out today and tomorrow. My prayer is that some of the memories and stories I have shared in the Blog will encourage you to strengthen your own personal relationship with Christ, Family, and Friends and to, perhaps, learn as I have learned over the years that only with Christ will you have Courage for Today.
My goal in writing this blog is to share my personal life experiences in ways that show you that worship is a person, not a place. Your faith in God is an ongoing relationship that grows with each trial and strengthens each time God pours his never ending Grace and Mercy upon you. Perhaps you’ve been a Christian for years like me. Or, maybe, you’re searching for answers and don’t know where to look. Or, you love God with all your heart, but just don’t understand religion. The good news is you’ve come to the right place.
Welcome Home and thanks for stopping by. I hope you pull up a cozy chair, maybe a cup of coffee, and visit with us a while. I pray that you will enjoy reading the entries as much as I enjoy writing them.
